This is fantastic. My favorite thing is the focus on what truly matters. When others, or the culture, define “what matters,” all you get is a soul sold without even a receipt to show for it. While it’s true that many folks could not afford (financially) to take this path, in many cases it actually can be afforded if the Joneses can simply be allowed to win: having an old car and a very modest (or worse) home, without fancy vacations and clothes, yet a heart filled with joy, is worth a million times more.
