SiGMA Hackathon during iGaming Malta is canceled
Sometimes even the most thoroughly prepared things can go wrong. We regret to announce that the hackathon at SiGMA iGaming Malta had to be cancelled.
We did our best to make this event a true celebration of skills and creativity for all the developers who wanted to work with the DAO.Casino protocol. Unfortunately, some things were out of our control: the provided location was not suitable enough due to the cold weather on the island at this time of the year.
We put health and safety of the participants above everything else. We sincerely apologize to all the hackathon attendees who have already arrived to Malta. We invite all SiGMA Hack participants to join our Sandbox project and open the registration for the teams. We believe that during Sandbox teams will be able to implement all their ideas that were prepared for the Hackathon. DAO.Casino will offer maximum support to the teams. We will also increase the funding for Sandbox due to that matter.
The Sandbox project is live and will continue till December 21. We will select the best games, reward the winners and also help with the game promotion on our marketplace.
The main goal of the Sandbox project is to collaborate with developers on the way to creating games using DAO.Casino SDK and protocol. For more information about Sandbox project please navigate to https://dao.casino/sandbox.
We hope that this incident will not affect the overall impression of the SiGMA iGaming Malta. Our team will analyze all the nuances that led to this outcome and take measures to prevent it from happening in the future.
