Greg Vail is a saxophonist who has been making waves in the music industry for decades. He has had the privilege of touring and recording with some of the biggest names in jazz and pop music, including Elton John, Earth Wind and Fire, Chaka Khan, Toto, Michael McDonald, Smokey Robinson, Greg Adams, Josh Groban, Natalie Cole, Al Jarreau, Crystal Lewis, Rick Braun, and Peter White. In addition, Greg has released a successful 6 CD series of love songs called Sax by Candlelight and Sax by Moonlight on Time Life/Warner, which has sold millions of copies.
On January 26, 2023, Greg will be releasing a new NFT album with MetaJAX and DAOrecords. This album is special because it was recorded in front of live audiences on two occasions at Campus JAX, the home of MetaJAX in Newport Beach, California. The first concert was captured on September 12, 2021, with the subsequent event captured on January 23, 2022.
The September 2021 concert featured Greg accompanied by Marc Hugenberger on keys, Ernie Nuñez on bass, and Nat Scott on drums. The January 2022 concert featured the same players with the exception of Tom Dante on drums.
