I and team is able to connect with my office’s HR and one of my Friend. The answer below are the summarized version of their answers.

Question I asked are the following:

  • In your experience, how important do you think it is to be yourself in an interview?

It is the most important thing, because our recruiter’s decisions are mostly depending on it, like this person can stand with company or nor, is it a perfect fit or not or should we put him on delay or hire him etc. If he present him self fake in interview then the decision making process is also effected and we have to ask more and more things, to understand the level of truth, he is presenting.

  • How do you identify if a candidate is being real or not during the interview?

Their are some point through which we knew that the following person is behaving real or fake.

  1. Firstly, interviewers of our company ask questions that are generated by his preview answers, If he stuck or mismatched a statement that he previously said he is pretend to be something he is not.
  2. His knowledge says everything, If his mentioned experience and skills/ knowledge doesn’t match, If is telling something lie to us, means he is fake.
  3. If he has a good experience and he is still nervous then its means, he doesn’t work under extreme pressure or work that hard, or doesn’t believe himself.
  4. By seeing a candidate nervousness or over confidence, We can also identify that this candidate is pretend to be something that he isn’t or not prepared or not interested.
  • What suggestions you may have on how to be fully prepared/equipped for an interview?

You should be well dressed and behave well mannered, firstly. Because It is the first expression you are giving to a company. Your knowledge and experience is the second thing and most important thing also, so you should be well prepared for things that can be asked, by seeing the Job Description. Also try to answer the question with yours own experiences, by not others. (means try to be real)

Takeaways:

  • You should go well prepared.
  • You should be real. Avoid of becoming a person that you are not.
  • You should be mentally and physically prepared, and also show manners (e.g like hearing complete question before answering, not to cut talk of recruiter while he is saying etc etc) and appreciations.
