There is racism where someone is picked on because of ethnicity, and racism where they are not picked on because of ethnicity. The article mentioned does not do the former, but this article definitely advocates the latter.
I grew up believing that racism was a thing of the past, long forgotten, relegated to history books. In my mind, everyone was the same, and in my mind now, everyone still is the same. I don’t see white or black or pink or orange people, I just see people.
Were I to criticize someone perceived as being a different ethnicity, surely someone would cry “racism!” even if I didn’t know the ethnicity of the person I was criticizing and couldn’t care less.
As a science lover, I stand with the scientific view. As a bible lover, I stand with the biblical view. We are all brothers descended from the same two people. And there is ONE race, the HUMAN race.
