Kyrie Irving reportedly is thinking of leaving the Cavs for the Knicks, Spurs, Heat, and Bulls.
I think Kyrie leaving the Cavs is a good move for him because he basically wants the spotlight to himself, he wants to be the star. With LeBron and Kevin Love on the same team, he does not have the spotlight like he wants to have it.
- Knicks: Now Kyrie on the Knicks is an okay move for him because most definitely he will have the spotlight since D. Rose may be leaving and Melo is leaving, but he will not have no support team, he will not make it nowhere with that team in my opinion.
- Bulls: The same thing with this team, but he has a little more support system. He can go here and have the spotlight, and still have a team who can score a little. You have Wade who can score an easy 20, and Paul Zipser who is an aggressive scorer all around , then in the paint you have Bobby Portis and Robin Lopez who can defend the paint just as well as they can score in it. Then the newly added Zac Levine and Kris Dunn who they acquired from the Timberwolves in the offseason this year. So Kyrie would be a good addition to a team who can all score aggressively.
- Spurs: Now Kyrie with the Spurs would be an exceptional move on both Kyrie’s part and the Spurs part. He wont have the spotlight as much as he would like, but he well be apart of a team who could compete with the Warriors without him, now if he was to go to the Spurs they would have a way better chance at beating the Warriors.
- Heat: Here at the Heat, Kyrie would be a good addition because they already have a good point guard with Goran Dragic, who would be great coming off the bench for Kyrie. The Heat still have Hassan Whiteside also, who can score aggressively in the paint and is working on those mid range shots, along with Dion Waiters. Kyrie would be a good addition here, but I don’t think it would be a good move because he cant go far with this team.
I think Kyrie’s best move in this offseason would be to go to the Spurs. He would be a great addition to the team because him and Kawhi would would score half the team’s points alone, and they have many role players with Ginobili, Kyle Anderson, Tony Parker, and Dejounte Murray. Then on top of their role players, and the superstar team of Kawhi and Kyrie, they have Lamarcus Aldridge, and newly added Rudy Gay. The Spurs would be a great team to be in competition with the Warriors along with the Thunder and the Rockets who both teams got new, great players in this offseason.
