1. Company Background:

The vision of “Dysion” is to build world-class cutting-age electronic appliances for improving people’s lives by altering technologies through prototypes, striving for simplicity and reliability. Innovation, functionality, luxury are a clear values for “Dyson” that has guided it throughout the years.

2. Objective:

My project is robotic device, which supposes to solving the problem of the immobility of the house air-purification system and controlling it by using the mobile app. However, this product also has the function of a vacuum cleaner.

3. Target audience:

This project especially for people with a dust allergy or difficulties with the respiratory system and high-income households, age category 26–50 y.o.

4. Brand Voice:

All brands have a personality and if you look at Dyson’s marketing materials, emails, and even the company’s Twitter page, you find a voice that is careful, smart, and innovative. Dyson’s devices supposed to help with daily works and make life easier that users feel free and timesaving.

5. Insights:

The project should be further simplified to designing high quality, innovative cleaning solutions that focus on being socially and environmentally responsible. This means the product should be interactive, intuitive, semi-self-controlled and consist of high-quality materials and technologies.

6. Key message:

Vision of product is to be one-step ahead and take care about people’s health.

7. Outcome:

Design research — UX/UI /Commercial proposal, Design Value/Innovation. (till 21 Feb)

Design brief– brief with extract info from reserch, DNA, Stylescape. (till 28 Feb)

Generation ideas — the variation of ideas, draft 3D, ergonomic mock-up, specification, design strategy, project Evaluation. (till 16 Mar)

Concept — final sketch, 3D model, mock-up of prototype, book, app, sustainability. (till 23 Mar)

Design — rendered 3D, book, posters, covered mock-up, video, web-page. (till 21 May)

Production — product, sharing on web, presentation. (till 27 May)
