130,000-Year-Old Fish Sculpture Found, Potentially the Oldest of Its Kind

Archaeologists in the Republic of South Africa have identified a stone sculpture of a stingray. Dating indicates that the object is as old as 130,000 years and could be the oldest piece of animal representation in art.
