We are fascinated by what is highest, most expensive, rarest or deepest. So there is also the deepest hole in the Earth, very inconspicuous. But for a very long time it was the number one topic around the world. It wasn’t technology that led to it, an unexpected result of scientific research. What exactly? A good joke. What was it based on? Is the SG-3 well the deepest hole in the ground?
