Titan implosion. This footage shows how the tragedy occurred
The cause of death of all passengers aboard the Titan submarine was implosion. A visualization of the likely course of the disaster has appeared online — less than a week after the dramatic events in the Atlantic.
The disappearance of the Titan submarine, which set sail for the wreck of the Titanic on June 18, was lived all over the world. Contact with the five-member crew of the bathyscaph broke off just two hours after the submersion. Unfortunately, despite an intensive rescue operation, they could not be found. After several days, the worst-case scenario was confirmed — all five people aboard the machine died. The cause of the crash was implosion.
How did Titan’s disaster occur?
Although 111 years have passed since the Titanic disaster, the famous ocean liner, which collided with an iceberg in the Atlantic on the night of April 14–15, 1912 and sank, continues to fascinate researchers.
