Are you bored? Do you have MacBook Pro 2011? There are 6 games for you!

Katz here. Today I’m going to tell you a bit about my gaming life, I got really powerful setup at home which I use for streaming or even some graphic works, but I live an active life of a student, that’s why sometimes I’m not able to touch my lovely PC. At university I use MacBook Pro 2011, which is really useful by studying, this Apple’s product is easy to carry, I use office and tactical backpacks for EDC. Mac is brilliant by scrolling Internet and creating any kinds of digital media files, but it’s not friendly with games. But still there are some “oldies-but-goldies” and fresh-new games which I recommend you to play on your good old Mac.
- Darkest Dungeon by Red Hook Games.

This game is really dark and grim, but it has bright metacritic which is 84. In my opinion it is one of the best games for Mac and any PC, because it is not strict to the hardware, it requires only 2 gb RAM and Open GL 3.2+ compliant graphic card, also 2 gb space on the hard drive. The plot is kinda easy: you command a squad of headhunters looking for adventures and some glories fights. They have different roles, traits, diseases and peculiar properties. There is some RPG cliches like tanks healers and dps, but in this game you got to understand the mood of every squad member, otherwise the morale will go down and your allies will get no success in their journey. It’s for you to decide which destiny awaits your men and women. There be many death, but don’t be afraid, diligence brings new heroes everyday. This game is available on Steam.
2. Undertale by Tobyfox

The second game in this very list is Undertale. The metacritic is incredibly high — 92. This indie RPG totally deserves your attention, of course if you into great bedtime stories where every decision, boss-battle or even a random encounter of yours will have consequences. The storyline tells you about the war between humans and monsters. Humans have won all the battles and put monster under the mountain as mulct. You play as a child who fell down the cave and made it into monsters lair. Here you will meet some interesting personalties, test your conversational and killing skills. But, you can try to play this game without killing at all, because this game has a very special battle/interaction system which is a key feature of Undertale. This game requires only 2 gb RAM and 200 mb space on hard drive. I hope this game will fill you with determination. It’s available on Steam.
3. VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action by Sukeban Games

Oh boi this one is my favourite. Cyberpunk, visual novel, bartender simulator — all in one! Also lots of ironic jokes and postmodernism plot twists. This project has no metacritic, but it’s definitely a good product. The gameplay of this vn is easy: mix drinks, talk to people, swap the music in jukebox. There are many types of customers: cyborgs, augs, dogs, cats, girls, robogirls, journalists, pop-idols, wrestlers, your waifu… Be ready to have a good time in Vallhalla, and heal soul wounds by pouring alcohol in glasses. To run this game you only need 1 gb RAM, 256 mb graphic card and 250 mb space on hard drive. Don’t forget to tip your local bartender. This game available on Steam.
4. Counter-Strike 1.6 by Valve

Shooting others with no consequences was fun since Quake online, but here we got something tactical, and without BFG’s or Quad DMG. CS 1.6, welcome to our list! This 3D shooter is the oldest game in our list, but it’s also one of the greatest. This game is beloved all over the world. Meet grandfather of CS:GO — which is now one of the most popular e-sport disciplines. Buy gear, communicate with your team, shoot to kill, plant/defuse the bomb, win the round — repeat. This game has some default mods like plant bomb/defuse, hostages and vip protection. But custom games like zombiemod, surf, gungame, deathrun, jail, minigames are here for you. Have fun and don’t forget to feed your pet, this game is addictive. Requirements: 1 gb RAM, 4 gb free space on hard drive, 256 mb graphic card.
5. Sid Meier’s Civilization® V by Fraxis Games and Aspyre

I think this game is a perfect time-killer, 4k strategy at its finest. Your goal is to become the most powerful Empire on the map. You can play with your friends or alone, it’s up to you, but don’t destroy you relationships by devastating your friends country. Also this game is beautiful, I might say A E S T H E T I C. Easy to learn, hard to master, but if you’ll find your personal tactics you will be rewarded with a lot of pleasure by winning. Psst, if you want to play with me, please don’t steal my wonders or I get mad. To run this game you’ll need 2 gb RAM, 8 gd free hard drive space, 256 mb graphic card.
6. Dota 2 (by Valve) and LoL (by Riot)

Yes, I put them together, cause for me they are both good. I know this holywar, which is never to meet its demise. But I can say, both of them are pretty popular and fun to play, at the same time competitive. LoL and Dota 2 require skill and nice reflexes to play the game and experience the full amount of enjoyment. Also you can always watch the championships of this disciplines on Twitch. Eventually you will find your fav team and follow it. By the way, don’t forget about the meta, it’s always up to date, if u wonna win — follow it, otherwise try to win, but the way harder. The hardware requirements are low, any wooden PC can run those fancy games.
Conclusion
I just showed these games for low PC and laptops. It’s not a top, just my own experience which I’d like to share. Keep in touch!
