I think I love you — or at least the above piece of marvellously liberating writing. I totally agree with everything you’ve so eloquently expressed. And I know that horrid feeling of finding parts of myself tweaking and adjusting other parts of myself, so that I can be more like X person or Y person, because they are the epitome of beauty, or intellect, or savvy, or successful.
You can’t be that weird however, or this piece wouldn’t be so well written or free of weirdness, kookiness and general peculiarity. Salvador Dali — well there was a serious, dedicated weirdo.
