The types of clients we have to deal with
Being in the healthcare business, we get to hear about different health issues everyday and being in the alternate healing we are also privileged to hear about non health challenges which people face be it relationships, professional or other areas of life.
And it never ceases to amaze me, the kind of issues which people face. Believe me when I say that Bollywood movies are not all fiction. Now how many are genuine and how many self created is a different story. Based on our experience I have combined and created the type of clients which we have come across at healclinic in the last 1 year and see if you can identify them around you or inside of you,
- The Victims: Yes the situation and the circumstances is a reality for the person who calls us for help, but most of the times on further probing we realise that the actual issue is with the person themselves and not others who they tend to blame for putting them in such a situation. We as humans love to put the responsibility of our lives in others hand so that when things are not going as we expect them to, we can play the victim card and blame the other.
- The Bad-mannered: So many people call, talk at length over days and when the actual point comes for them to sign up they disappear. From not picking up the phone to banging the phone in between a conversation to asking us how can we ask them to pay, isn’t healing supposed to be a service so it should be free, to I will go ahead only if you guarantee that the situation will get resolved in 2 days time to I will not do anything all the work has to be done by healclinic and the healer that’s why I am paying you guys…we have heard it all ( though I am sure there are many more to come)
- The Endorsers: We have had many instances where people want us to help them with certain personal or professional decisions, and when tarot reading/akashic records indicates a certain direction they take offence since that is not what they want. So basically they have come to validate/endorse what they have already decided, but that is not how these therapies work. These therapies tap into your own subconscious energies and indicate patterns/beliefs.
- The Sympathy seekers- These are people who genuinely have health issues, but do not really want to do much about it. They just want to talk about it repeatedly as it satisfies some latent need of theirs. And since no one in their family or friend circle want to hear them, they find calling us and talking about it very soothing, especially when it comes to discussing personal stuff. As we are anonymous faceless, just an ear on the other side of the phone.
- The Spiritual Shoppers: Then there are cases when people come to us for spiritual shopping. Yes, something similar to window shopping but here they will call us constantly and want to know about different therapies and want to get connected to different practitioners to understand how they work or generally chat about their therapies. After speaking to a couple of them (well now we have started identifying them and put a stop to the conversation in the beginning itself) they will disappear and at times reappear after a couple of months to initiate the conversation again. Some of them actually take a session from different practitioners and are still not satisfied.
Well we have seen quite a few, and learning to deal with them in their own unique way. Would love to hear the kind of clients you come across.
