BAM! Fantastically written, powerful and true. I don’t know that the end results you describe are strictly from the app mindset… baby boomers ain’t doin much about the environment, either. Big money interests turn our attention from the things that are wrong that are cornerstones of the economies, so what we are left with is the increasingly trivial, and irrelevant, so that wealthy folks can earn more money they will never spend. I do think there are technological connection components that can aid, but not be a substitute for our current deficiencies- namely, and specifically, education about what is happening, and a rational system for collective decision making.
