I knowhow you feel. I’m still a church goer, really enjoy Gateway Church Southlake TX. But my Dad was an alcoholic-atheist-pastor, and I went through some spiritual abuse in the pentecostal churches after that. Jesus IS the only way, and a personal relationship with Him through The Word is vital, but the “business” and human side of church can distract and disillusion the best of us. I’m still tending towards distrust of church leaders as my default gut reaction, and healing has come but slowly. I hope you’ve found peace in Jesus, despite the people non-sense built around church.
