Great point about on demand services starting to fail. On demand is a concept that is easy to start, but very challenging to maintain. You won’t maintain and grow your user base for your service without a genuinely well implemented product, even if you have initial interest. Anybody can code an app “Uber for X”, and anyone can get the public hyped about the product. The real challenge, however, is figuring out how to sustain the inherent sub economy that on demand applications create (e.g. having enough drivers for uber, enough suppliers and deliverymen for weed delivery, balancing cost and fees for using the application). It’ll be interesting to see how these apps play in tomorrows economy.
