Judging people on their beliefs is not scientific

There is no such thing as “rationality” of a belief, there is rationality of action

The rationality of an action can only be judged by evolutionary considerations

This is awesome. I only wish there were better words available to us. I’m not thrilled with rationality. I prefer cognition although I end up using consciousness more often, which is just as problematic, to invoke the human mind. Bottom line is religion has an evolutionary basis, and it isn’t through belief that we will arrive at understanding it.
