Hopper was born in the United States in 1882 and studied illustrations and paintings at the New York School of Art. He worked as a commercial painter until 1924 and entered the career of a full-time author with the help of his wife, Josephine.
He expressed the natural scenery of the US in the 20th century with his own style, and his work influenced Alfred Hitchcock, Martin Scorsese, and many others.
In this exhibition, 270 works and Hopper’s documentary “Hopper: American Love Story” will be screened.
The artworks ‘Second Story Sunlight’, one of Edward Hopper’s favorite works, and ‘Burly Cobb’s House, Soutj Truto’, which was on display at the White House during Barack Obama’s tenure, will also be featured in this exhibition.
