Due to recent data privacy laws, Instagram users can now request and download their Instagram information. While Instagram hides the ability to access your data deep within the website and app, DataEarn makes it easy as a click to access your data from Instagram. Once you access the page, here are a series of steps that allow you to not only request your data but also leverage DataEarn’s software to understand what information Instagram has about you in a comprehensive data report.
Follow these steps to Download Your Instagram Data
- Click “Access data” to go to the Instagram data download section.
- Provide your profile information with your email address or username.
3. Put your preferred email and under the horizontal lines select JSON files.
4. Enter your Instagram password and click the Request Download button.
5. You will get direct messages and a download link from Instagram in a matter of minutes.
6. Open the email and click “Download Information”. Instagram will prompt you to log in again with your Instagram credentials for security purposes.
7. You can now double-click the zip file to download.
Once you have access to this file you will see that Instagram has sent you a copy of your data that is too much data for the average individual to process. You can either go through the copy of your Instagram data or you can register an account with DataEarn and our algorithms will explain it to you in seconds!
8. To see your user data, Register and Drag and Drop the file.
8. Click upload and your Instagram DataCards will show your account data!
If this does not work, try unzipping the file and uploading the folder.
If the unzipped file does not work, try opening the file and deleting the media and messaging folders and rezipping and uploading.
Congrats, you officially have ownership of your Instagram data! You can see your Instagram app data and different data types of information. You can view your Liked Posts, Account History, Ads Viewed, Account Information, Activities, Follower Demographics, Facebook Data, Inferred Phone Number, Profile Data, Former Usernames, Preferred Web Browser, Complete Search History, Web Version, Instagram Post Data, Recent Searches, Full Names, iOS Devices, Privacy Settings, Mobile Phones, Instagram Feed, and more!

We currently do not process Instagram photos or Instagram messages. We also provide this solution for Spotify, Snapchat, Uber, and Facebook. We utilize our patented algorithms to provide you with the best software possible.
What is to come
This summer we plan to add a data download tool for Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Tinder, and Netflix to our website.
We are in the process of building out a new feature that will estimate the amount of Advertisement Revenue generated from Snapchat and Meta. Check out your DataEarn card at the end of the month to see your stats and how you compare to the average Snapchat and Meta user. We are also allowing users to see the Streaming Revenue generated from their Spotify accounts. We are also building out company portals that allow companies to discover their “digital footprint” by combining data across all of their touch points.
