You’re doing a great job! Communication supersedes language. Maybe because we think in pictures and only try and put it into words afterwards. The sad thing is that someone who sees the most vivid pictures are often not the most famous speaker or writer because words are such a thin pipe to try and fit pictures through. (I speak for myself, as someone with autism spectrum disorder every language is a foreign language). As a reader the popular stories are not always the best (in that sense Californication is the popular boring stuff and Bernardo Bertoluci is the brilliant artist who is relegated to the foreign film shelf (Stealing Beauty is a total eyegasm [*compliment]). On the other hand Richard Linklater did a brilliant job of putting words on screen in ‘Before Sunset’. Anyway keep writing, even throw in some French if you like; I’ll translate.
