There is so much information and technologies out there that it can become overwhelming when trying to determine what new technologies you should learn.

I found it’s best to try and go after what interests you and ignore the rest. It can be tempting to hop between technologies and or goals but by doing this you’ll end up in a cycle of not accomplishing anything.

As a Data Scientist it’s important to grow with technologies. So i believe learning new technologies to be a very important part of Data Science.

Here are my 5 Data Science goals as a Data Scientist.

#1 Become a Streamlit Pro

If you haven’t heard about Streamlit yet, you’re missing out. Streamlit is a web framework designed for Data Scientists. It’s super easy to learn and you don’t need to have fancy web dev skills to master it.

You can turn your insights into interactive dashboards. Kind of like Tableau, but way more powerful in my opinion as you have complete control and you can take in user input.

#2 Learn how I can use Chat GPT
