As can be seen from the transaction records linked above the Team Token Fund has been locked since June 2018, unlocked only when certain milestones are reached according to this press…

Last year, Datum set out to become the world’s first true marketplace for structured data. How can you keep such a big task manageable? Well, for starters, pick a good role model. We’re using a great one… eBay.
This multi-billion dollar company facilitates both B2C and C2C sales in a safe and secure way that keeps users coming back time and again. It operates in 30 countries, is over 20 years old, and has no real competitor. It’s easy to see why this is Datum’s guide star.
Like eBay, Datum is a decentralized network of sellers and buyers. Instead of a wide range of things, only one product is bought and sold in our marketplace: structured data. This type of data doesn’t include things like iPhone photos; it’s the kind of machine-readable data usually found in databases or on a spreadsheet. …
This is the time of year when people often say, “Out with the old and in with the new!” At Datum, however, things are a little different. We embarked on a huge mission in 2017. At the heart of that mission is the desire to help you #TakeBackYourData and #GetPaid to do it. Things are really starting to roll now and we’re continuing in the same direction, full speed ahead.
I’ve always been obsessed with big data and aware of the ever-expanding influence it holds on all of our lives. For a while now, I’ve wanted to help the people that are really creating this data — yes that’s right, YOU — profit from the product they make. Creating a global data storage infrastructure and marketplace is the right way to do this, and it became clear that 2017 was the year to make this happen. …

The Datum Token Sale successfully ended yesterday raising a total of 15,794.903 ETH from 2726 contributors. At the current ETH/USD price of around $460 this represents $7,265,655 USD in funds raised.
We would like to thank our contributors and the extended community of over 80'000 users who signed up for their support and believe in Datum’s vision. At Datum we are creating the first decentralized and secure storage infrastructure for individuals and companies alike and aim to help individuals reclaim data ownership and monetization. …
We are happy to announce that the DAT token will be listed on Coss.io and EtherDelta soon after the token distribution which will occur between Dec 4th to Dec 11th.
COSS stands for Crypto-One-Stop-Solution and is operating their exchange of Singapore.
If you’re like most people, you probably didn’t hear anything about KYC until you signed up to buy DAT, but as cryptocurrencies become more prevalent, you can expect to hear these three letters — which mean Know Your Customer — a lot more often.
Here’s a video explaining why KYC protects both the long term health of Datum as a company as well as token sale backers.
The KYC process is the only way Datum can check the source of funds raised during the token sale, and we do so by verifying each buyer’s identity and residency. This is something that isn’t only required by governments and regulators, but also by the banks, large corporations, and public bodies we’re bringing into the data trading market that is the Datum Network. …
