The Windy City recently welcomed a new consultant to Team Daugherty! Here’s what you need to know about Daugherty Chicago’s new Project Management Consultant Uday Koduri.

Uday joined Team Daugherty on the first of August. Prior to accepting his current role, he worked as a Senior Consultant at a Chicago-based management consulting company. In this role he was primarily responsible for drafting IT solution proposals and making new business presentations. Before gaining valuable consulting experience, Uday spent seven years working as a Project Manager. These experiences allowed him to develop his leadership and team building skills. He also became comfortable working in an Agile environment.

Uday earned a bachelor’s degree in bioengineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago. After spending a few years as an Analyst, he began working toward his master’s degree from Depaul University. His focus was business information technology.

During his free time, Uday enjoys playing and watching sports. Whenever he gets a chance, you can find him getting up and down the hardwood in a pick-up basketball game. He is a true Chicago sports fan, favoring the Bulls, Bears and Cubs.

Although Uday’s work did take him away from Chicago for a few years after graduation, he jumped at the opportunity to return to the city. If you ask him his favorite things about Chicago, he has two answers that are more common that not. The first is the pizza. He is a big fan of Chicago-style deep dish. The second is the beautiful skyline.

Uday is excited to begin his journey as a member of Team Daugherty. If you see him in the Chicago office take some time to welcome him to the team!
