Welcome to #TeamDaugherty

When people think about the month of March many different things come to mind. For some it is warmer weather; others are focused on their spring break getaways; and then there is the group thinking about March Madness. As a former DIII men’s basketball player at Emory University, our newest teammate, Samuel Kim, is definitely a part of the group with basketball on the brain. Let’s get to know our newest member of Team Daugherty a little bit better.

Originally from New York, Samuel moved to Georgia at the age of 11 and has lived in the Peach State ever since. Growing up in an Atlanta suburb, he made the move to Covington, Georgia, to attend Emory University in 2011. He was a member of the men’s basketball team throughout his college career, making his mark on the Eagles program by grabbing a record number of rebounds.

When Samuel graduated from Emory University with a degree in economics, he began working as an IT Business Analyst. He had a number of responsibilities, such as producing vision and scope documents for various projects, formulating business and operation process models, and analyzing requirements for changes in business processes using Agile methodologies.

You probably guessed it, but in his spare time Samuel loves to shoot some hoops or get a good workout in. He also enjoys trying some of the great restaurants in the Beltline or Midtown areas of Atlanta.

Samuel is a perfect fit for Team Daugherty because he is like so many of his teammates — driven to succeed and dedicated to helping our clients. Whether you simply want to welcome him to the team or get some advice for filling out your bracket, Samuel would love to meet his new teammates!
