Great points. Can you shed any light on how much data science influences the storylines and characters? I read an article in the NY Times a couple of years ago that Netflix has developed considerable expertise about the viewing behavior of its subscribers as referenced by Amalan Das below, but have not heard how that expertise has evolved.
