The issue may be status quo success metrics. Are you measuring downloads, MAU, DAU, shares, posts, comments, etc? Every app won’t grow like Facebook. The market may be saturated in terms of social media platforms. But there are opportunities for apps to succeed in other ways besides aiming to get 1.4 billion free users that creates a massive media business model. Revenue could be a goal, for example. But only the top .5% of apps have actual hockey stick growth.
