I’m also waiting for Mueller’s investigation to reveal something about how Russian produced fake news about Hillary distributed as video ads on Facebook targeting only those statistically likely to be Hillary ambivalent also worked to depress the voter turn out. It may or may not be tactic that had a scaled impact on voter turnout, but it is one I would expect to see more broadly deployed in future election cycles if Facebook in particular doesn’t crack down on foreign ad sales of politically oriented video across their network.
