Bridj is taking a new approach to mass transportation. Somewhere in-between Uber and the MBTA, Bridj picks you up on-demand and takes you near where you need to go, optimizing pick-ups, drop-offs, and routing based on demand.
Matt started the original idea for Bridj while in college at Middleburg, organizing shared transportation for students looking to travel on the weekends (and it worked; Matt took home $10,000 the first time around and eventually expanded to other schools in the Northeast). To date, Bridj has raised $4M from a handful of local investors including NextView and Accomplice.
