I moved to London from the NYC area last summer with my family. I actually feel like I have moved to the future. From contactless payments, to rational gun control, to skilled drivers, cars that get >50 mpg, to well-maintained public transportation, infrastructure investment, smart food choices and excellent schools there is so much to recommend London and the U.K.

What is so surprising is that this should describe San Francisco and Silicon Valley, but it doesn’t.

Why is that?
