I know there are people that love to point out that black men commit a higher percentage of crimes than white men, but for me it always comes back to this one point. “ Neither had committed a crime that was punishable by death nor did they put any officers lives at risk.” They died simply because they were black men and many officers response to black men, and women (think Sandra Bland), is different. Period. We see this over and over and I can’t understand how anyone could even try to justify their deaths using any type of statistics.
