Overview of Human Design: 9 energy Centers and 64 gates

0.0 Overview

In Human Design, Energy “Centers” are what we call the geometric shapes located inside the BodyGraph. Centers are focal points, or hubs, that receive and transform the energy, or life force, that circulates throughout the BodyGraph.

Each of the nine Centers of the BodyGraph has its own distinct biological correlation, i.e. the Splenic Center is connected to the lymphatic system, and the Root Center to the Adrenal Glands.

0.2 What it means when centers are open/non-color in

• Open Head: create drive to answer things out
• Ajna: pressure to be certain

1.0 Head

1.1 Overview

• Definition: for idea and inspiration and also pressured center . under pressure to figure. Always have question.
• When Open: designed to wise about idea and inspiration. use the strategy and authority to see which idea to take action on. don’t be pressured to take on action with the new ideas nor have the pressure to figure things out. (I am deeply inspired every time, question in my head are from others, and I will answer them only if it is within my strategy) (lean and sense the difference between truly inspired and just an idea).
• When Defined: have fix way of thinking and get inspired. I am inspired and inspiring and share my inspiration with other. Sometime may feel stucked.
• Remark:

— 1/8 of people have it defined are broadcasting their inspiration. 7/8 are amplifying their ideas.

— above 3 gates are here to get to know things. All gate starts with question. Inspiration is not about figure things out, but to engage with possibility associated with thinking only with visualizing or starting to ask question (I wonder if this is true, and design to question for expansion of idea)

— open head can pick up other people’s thinking (so often other people is going to say “I was going to say that”. or you can say “would you like to do this way while speaking with a defined head by offering question while aligning with strategy)

2.0 Ajna

2.1 Overview

• definition: center for concrete, thinking analysis and data process and storage where we hold information and believe system.

— — Open: look at information from multiple perspective, then amplying and experience. feel struggle where other people are firm. while some other people are sure about the. Try *** try to hold on fixed idea, but always struggle to be certain about things, because we are train (MIND IS engaging the possibility only , not supossed to hold on the fix idea)

— — defined Ajna: when information goes in, it will stay in the memory. (e.g remember the information clearly). Fixed way of thinking, and have less possibility to see information from other perspective. Lucked at idea (e.g. always fixed at doing things )

— — example: kids open Ajna and parents are defined in a religious family where the kids are more firmed with the idea. Then leave for home for school with all kind of religious from all people world.. you suddenly will experience other religious that feels right. When come back at home, and parents will feel guilty that the kids are no longer the same religious.

note: life is like ping-pong when most people rely on both Head and Ajna (The Mind) to make decision. THERE IS NO MOTOR (where real life is below the neck because the motor is not connected. UP here is just idea/wire thinking/….

3.1 Overview

• definition: center for communication and manifestation. words have the power to manifesting.
• roles: center regulate and modulate how someone is able to do or manifests.
• — — if not used correctly, maybe burnout. (may be blow the thraoit, hythroait may affects about cardio)
• defined throat: always consistent way of communicating.
• Undefined throat (1/8) : natural ability to amplying and express best needs with people who rea communicating. on stage, become the voice of people in the room. open throat is designed to be silent, and waiting for invitation. Sometime because get pressure to talk, because taking in energy from other (e.g. open throat people will just keep on talking and !@#!@$!@$ become very vocal, if not silently ) . SO talented like Singer and Improving. emulate people’s voice. May feel that family may not notice and not be seen and get recognition when not trust that silence is the strategy to get known. sometime just don’t know what to talk and talk and talk around. and people may be confused especially not asked to share. Painful when don’t know how the energy works. feel that they are invisible, get energy when they are asked or get invited. the more quiet the more will be recognized. Need recognition and seeking out for appropriate attention. and may have history of doing things inappropriate.

• G Center to throat: you speaking about who you are. center about identify and speaking from the depth you are. you have vulnerable to the criticism. When they are judged or critiqued, may go to shell (don’t criticize the child)
• Will to throat: Start with I, potential to be in ego, or place to surrender to serve something bigger. capacity to service, providing resource to others. By nature going to be “I”. (e.g. Donald Trump)

4.0 G Center

4.1 Overview

• definition: for self or identify or self identity or center for love or center for direction. The self direction is from the G center because monopose. You have choice for follow or resisting it. (magnetic mono pole will take where your life to reach the highest expression)
• defined: limited selection in life, and it is great while there is an unlimited. The choice is actually alignment to your design. (e.g. you go to life of restaurant, you are only ordering from the menu). Will not take over other people’s aura, just follow the defined alignment.
• undefined/open: direction of life have a lot of variability and malibility. As long as you learn from you (e.g. you go to restaurant of life, and you will not only presented with food from your menu but also ask off from menu). Also center of love, one may question from your own love-bility. Needs to be in the right place with right place because may go to different place. (e.g. lots open G, what should I be doing, what direction should I take with my ability/career/love). Need to be geographically with the right people. e.g from the place of your bedroom, to the city, it needs to feel good). If feel that life is not move forward, then sometime requires moving to be a new place. Very sensitive to geography (e.g going to the restaurant, and does not feel right. ) Things may be miserable or feel good, then tension occurs. (.e.g people tends to move the furniture or redecorating the house like OCD). It is an identify center which will take energy including human and pets. There is wisdom where ou can feel and take what people needs or want, what does it take to do what they do , because be very sensitive (e.g. lots people in service/social service/therapy/ healer). Can fall in love with people’s potential. Wise to about love/relationship where open G tends to be with defined G.

4.2 Gate

• 10: empowerment or blame or self love:
• 7: democratic leadership: deisgn to unify and be in group where you lead with idea with equal power and voice demongratically.
• 1: design to make creative contribution, from the voice in center (I AM). who will you be and who you are
• 13 looking back and listening: need to do forgiveness and move forward.

• 46 embodiment: physically healthy
• 2 Support: to receive. all the resource need to fulfill. Question is who will you need to be to receive
• 15 the love of humanity: what we can give and share, instead of mean and selfish. direction giving energy. getting the energy from sharing. while we are creating, it is for greater of good, and sharing is powerful. Go share, and go find someone and share. The heart will crack open. Sharing does not always to give, but just be yourself.

5.0 Spleen

5.1 Overview

• definition: it is the animal survival instinct to survive which is time related. It is direct response / in the moment reaction is about “flight and fight”. (e.g open refrigerator and know which not to eat, dark alley) / intuition/ health, survival and time. <which are in the same space>.
• fear/survival based intuition (e.g. in the forecast, feeling a voice that there is a bear potentially chasing).
• — — hear a voice like don’t do it, or you intuitively know. this is the survival drive.
• — — we are moving from a animal instinct to the right hand side of emotional side. more deliverable with our choice via revolution of human spices (human 2.0 in 2027). Will not be driven by fear, moving a way moving to a driver of emotion (which is do it what feels right).
• — — we get mix-up with survival instinct v.s decide what feels right. The complexity of the human may become “FEARING” to take the next jump, which may make us paralyze or make us feeling to die. (e.g. if I do this I am going to die, the solution is to do it any way. The taking the action is the solution to overcome.).
• OPEN: sensitive, and deeper in tune with physical body (e.g. may feel have a health problem like sore throat). When sick, may explore other alternative non-Western medicine. Anxious about time and over compensating for time. Highly intuitive and experience so natural and may start to question. Sense and feel other people’s physical wellness. (e.g. smell other people’s pregnant). Will try to hold on to the KNOWN and afraid to let go (e.g. holding paper/clothing) with unconscious to keep these for survival. (question: should/may I holding on longer than should including habit/old stories/emotion then should).
• DEFINED: fixed and insensitive to body changes. (e.g. feel sick and need medication of Western medicine).

• 48 Inadequacy: I don’t have enough knowledge / training / experience — wisdom and depth to know the information and data to share with other people.
• 57 Fear of Future: (most intuitive in the chart), often get paralyze in getting in action. — ability to intuitively know what’s going to happen and how to unify people to bring them together with possibility of future
• 44 Fear of Past: I don’t want to do it again, because last time I did, did not work, so I am not going to do it again. — understand the pattern of past, and help people to break in the past and bring full access and the prosperity

6.0 Will/Heart/Ego Center

6.1 Overview

• definition: physical manifestation to form things of value. very material center, a place energy for money. lower expression for ego and potential for will. originally is part of heart/stomach/goldbladder? it has capability to surrender to something greater than oneself. it has theme of surrender with will power to hold on to something like promise/commitment. I am a piece of puzzle, and need to serve to be something greater. It is not a sustaining motor, and it work to rest. need to think about endurance just like a long race where you need to stop to rest before running again.
• defined center: 1/8 defined. Need consistent cycle of rest. It has a role to empower people such as lifting people and take care of them. (e.g. industry mentor/speaker has defined center sharing aura to others). If not rest, then will be sick and burn out in order to continue to create the resource. Moreover, maybe perceived to be competitive, but they don’t think they are.
• open center: 7/8 open defined. Sometime mistaken that have will power, and pushing in without realizing may burn out. Undefined center may go to a highly energized mentoring session with someone who may have defined center, then few days after may longer feel the energy. Biggest challenges is to question their own wealth, not worthy. In business, open will center will undervalue and need to prove yourself. Always ask what trying to prove? (e.g. why people call themselves XXX Diva XXX Bad Ass…. because people may need to rationalize their value. Constant look to prove and maybe burn out.

6.2 Gate

• 40: burnout: alone gate, feeling comfortable with defined Will center, may need to leave. Also gate of stomach, may push work and forget to eat — endure to sustain the commitment in life.

7.0 Sacral Center

7.1 Overview

• definition: most powerful motor center for work (i.e.) and life force (i.e. sex and sexuality / energy of taking care of kids/feeding the kids)
• defined: 70% of people
• undefined: 30% of people: (manifestor /projector) quality of energy is not sustainable. When amplying or taking in energy while feeling like super human, not able to maintain or sustain for a prolong sustaining time. Can borrow and use. At certain point will fray the circuit. May crush and not understand when enough is enough while feeling other people are not doing work. Work in cycle with down time and knowing when enough is enough.

8.0 Root Center

8.1 Overview

• definition: it is a pressure and stress center. one of the 4 weakest energy
• undefined: people with open root center is always pressure, with never ending to-do list. (e.g. I will get this done, then I can take a rest) . Take defined root, when they say something, open root will feel pressure of doing things. People like adrenaline such as stand up on the stage, getting the attention. Should practice to answer “what is the worst case would happen if I chose not to do this”.

• connecting to emotional center: Emotion has high and low. Adeline energy and emotional energy will go up and down.
• connecting to Spleen: Spleen is about time, when time or timing is not right, the adrenaline pulse will goes down. Therefore to take action when timing is not good, will not feel right.
