What I did with the energy costs was to combine the costs for different ways of harnessing that type of energy, and find the average. Therefore, this average may be more/less than most figures. I will, however, try to source and explain this in future — I apologise for that.

I wasn’t necessarily saying that solar and wind power are completely free from carbon emissions as you suggest I was, and I fully acknowledge it. As you say, cleaning up the energy supply will decrease the carbon emissions for renewable power plants, but this will happen quicker if we switch now — corroborating my argument.

I don’t believe the bias is as great as you say it is, but on reflection I can certainly see some issues. I fully agree that this slight bias would anger those who disagree and increase their bias.
