Please be reasonable. Those of us who abhor alcohol and the violence it greatly enables are your friends and neighbors.

We know that many of you are very responsible with your alcohol. You also know that many alcohol owners/users are not. Too many times a child gets ahold of their parents alcohol only to injure and kill someone. Sometimes even killing their own friends. You know this.

You also know there are far too many people with alcohol who simply should not be anywhere near alcohol. Too many depressed people have ready access to alcohol driving up suicide rates dramatically. More salient, we must get alcohol out of the hands of a few evil and disturbed people. No one believes Charlie Sheen, Bill Cosby, Dennis Rodman, Mel Gibson, Sean Pen, Nicholas Cage, Tommy Lee,… should ever have been allowed to get their hands on that much alcohol and commit domestic violence. I know that all reasonable alcohol owners can agree with that.
