Hi Fons — very similar story here, though I am the sole breadwinner in my family. I’m a musician working fulltime as a teaching artist and performer in schools, arts centers, libraries, concert series, etc. Been at it for 23 years and still learning as I go, but I feel lucky to have been able to carve out a great career and support a family of four doing it. I recently started a blog to help others do the same. And yes, I sometimes work 7 days a week! Someone once said “my dream is to live a life I don’t need a vacation from.” That’s definitely me, though as you say, it’s critical to re-create. Best wishes for continued success.
