Don’t give up
Learning how to code has been challenging for me. At the beginning, I thought that I would jump right in, and soon enough would have my own start-up. It hasn’t turned out that way for me, and there have been times when I’ve felt very discouraged and wanted to give up.
One thing that I’ve learned about coding is that there is a good deal of psychological learning lessons that are always available- learning how one deals with disappointments, shrugging off negative thought patterns, and such. It’s an ongoing practice for me, but I have learned a good deal.
One thing that I’ve learned is that I really do want to become a coder. Yes, I’ve lost a lot of self-confidence during this struggle, but perhaps I’m growing stronger in other areas, such as not giving up. One step at a time is my new approach.
