Since the investor was saving between 10%-50% in these scenarios, wouldn’t their target amount to earn via dividend income be the portion after savings (i.e between 50%-90% of the $70,000)? Since they were used to living off that amount and now they don’t need to save anymore, their target income level should be lower.
