I am embarrassed. I am always telling people that they shouldn’t just reach for the nearest npm package when something is easy enough to do themselves.

But I’d always used react-router without thinking. Well, I just updated a 10 month old project from RR 0.13 to 2.4 and it was a pain, I wish I’d just written it myself as you described here.
