The intimidator in-chief on May 31, 2018.

A picture is worth a thousand words. Look at these pictures of Chairman Paul Kagame and his Rwandan Patriotic Front (RPF) at a meeting held on May 31, 2018. RPF is a sad party — these pictures speak for themselves. It is as if these folks are attending a funeral.

We do not need to know what was spoken in the RPF meeting of May 31, 2018. The body language says it — RPF is terrified. Throughout history, tyrants have ruled with an iron fist. The dictators’ main purpose is to intimidate, terrify, and annihilate their real and imagined enemies. But most of all, dictators destroy their own party members. The dictator’s tyrannical drive to grab absolute power demands that he demolishes his own party, too. These pictures demonstrate the Rwandan version of fear-mongering and totalitarianism. The members meekly follow like sheep. Kagame’s Rwandan Patriotic Front is now a very sad party indeed.
