Overview

The choice of chicken here is a no brainer. When possible, grilled chicken is always the choice over fried chicken. The secret to this fast-food establishment is in the sides.

Recommendations

Blackened Tenders (5 pieces)

This is the best protein option on the menu because it’s one of the few options that isn’t fried.

Red Beans & Rice

The tenders may fill you up, but in case it does not, I would recommend the Red Beans & Rice as a side over most other options (e.g. mashed potatoes with cajun gravy or macaroni and cheese), which are high in bad fats and sodium.

Corn of the Cob Cobbet

If you’re not a fan of the red beans & rice, I would recommend this since it’s moderate in fat, low in sodium, and high in fiber.

Shockingly, I wouldn’t recommend green beans over the corn because they’re so high in sodium, and the sodium within our meal is already quite high. See sodium content in nutrition facts below:
