I love your perspective on the emotional side of design Daniel Eckler! I too believe that design has to better account for feeling outside of just form and function. I primarily design UI/UX for enterprise software and actively try to anthropomorphize the experiences I create. When connecting this with user stories and other project documentation, I find that it significantly helps figure out issues around flow and overall product experience. My personal perspective is that software should help people do their jobs better and empower users, and being emotionally intelligent during the design process has been invaluable in crafting higher performance and driving adoption in our applications.
