Promotion officials said on Monday that Parnasse (18–1) will take on Adrian Bartosinski (14–0), the unbeaten welterweight champion, at KSW 89 on December 16, 2023. It is anticipated that Gliwice, Poland, will host the event.

In a significant promotion, no boxer has ever held three belts at once or at all. The last person to try the feat was Patricio Pitbull, the current featherweight champion and former Bellator lightweight champion who lost to Sergio Pettis in a bid to win the bantamweight title earlier this year.

Long regarded as one of the sport’s brightest prospects, Parnasse won his first gold medal under the KSW banner in 2019 by winning the interim featherweight title. Later elevated to the undisputed champion status, he was defeated by Daniel Torres in January 2021 but won it back later that year to exact revenge for his only defeat.

Marian Ziółkowski, the undefeated champion, was replaced in the bout, and Sebastian Rajewski was defeated by Parnasse to win the interim lightweight title. This past June, a scheduled title unification match was canceled the night of the tournament due to an injury sustained by Ziółkowski during his warm-up. Once more, Parnasse was crowned the unchallenged champion.

The French celebrity defeated Robert Ruchała in August by successfully defending his featherweight belt.

This past April, Adrian Bartosinski, the KSW welterweight champion, defeated Artur Szczepaniak to win the 170 pound belt that was then vacant. Bartosinski is attempting a title defense for the first time with his bout against Parnasse.
