Excellent article loaded with facts only known by us the Black Veteran.

Strange how following my 2 year deployment with the 3rd Marine Division, the real racism was experienced the moment I arrived back in the good old USA. Both military and civilian racism was so obvious and in your face.

I no longer wear the red white and blue flag or sing those patriotic songs. I only wear the U. S. Marine Corps Eagle Globe and Anchor.

For some reason that is respected by all those kind of people.

I'm simply a husband, grandfather and USMC veteran. My 'BLACK' childhood experiences taught me the importance of standing firm against those who harm 'US'.
