Thanks for this article. The problem of filter bubbles on Facebook is a big one indeed, and the question here is: can Facebook find another approach AND keep their business model ? Put it another way: How do you keep people interested without showing them content that already match their interests ? It’s quite hard, unless your users are already in a curious mindset. That’s why we have created on Bridges: a knowledge-sharing community where members help each other discover new interests by making creative connections between webpages.
