Interesting idea. Ernest Becker precisely describes human relationship with death in book “The denial of death” in which Becker argues most human action is taken to ignore or avoid the inevitability of death. You can’t fight something you pretend doesn’t even exist. You should also check “Terror management theory”. I’m patiently waiting for part 2.
