2 Posters that Celebrate the Two Extremes of Design

I’ve been designing for 36 years.

When I started in this industry, there were NO computers.

No crutches. Zero ways to cut corners.

You either knew your shit and you changed careers and became a reporter for some industry publication.

Through it all and with all of the different “schools” of design, there really are two extremes: Swiss-design neat versus surfer-dude design anarchy.

Two Posters: One Message

I decided to embrace these two extremes in one series of posters.

Without a lot of preamble, one is neat. The other is messy.

With that intro, here is the neat poster:

The plan is to have these posters letterpressed to make that a tactile experience as well as a visual one.
