Is Black Panther the best movie of all time?

According to Rotten Tomatoes it is

On Rotten Tomatoes’ Top 100 Movies of All Time, Black Panther (2018) and Lady Bird (2017) beat Citizen Kane (1941), relegating it to third place. Oh, the ignominy!

But first, how did I get here, pouring over Rotten Tomatoes Top 100? It all began with my attempt to stream the Guardian’s 100 best films of the 21st century (that story here). I speculated that it might have been easier to find classics to stream, so turned to Metacritic’s The Best Movies of All Time (that story here). Observing an unexpected skew towards films of the 2010s, I set off in search of a “more balanced” top 100 to plan my personal film festival. So back to Rotten Tomatoes…

The following table shows the top twenty films according to RT. Sure, I enjoyed Black Panther and Wonder Woman — but better than The Maltese Falcon (1941), Psycho (1960) or Seven Samurai (1956), to name just a few?
