Chicken Mom and The Big Eddy

A Chinese proverb tells us to go straight to the heart of danger, for there you will find safety. If you’re not a little frightened by unfamiliar things such as white water rafting, it’s probably because you don’t have the imagination to visualize what could happen or are too arrogant to believe it could happen to you. One of the best ways to handle that fear once, as Pam did, you have decided to face it, is to take an active role; i.e., grab a paddle. You’ll amaze yourself with how much your instincts know!
