Then I have a further worry about your argument. You seem to endorse the thesis that all life, including humans, are a result of impersonal, mechanistic processes. You also endorse the thesis that mind is an emergent property of the brain.

This is basically the same thing as saying the mind is a product of impersonal mechanistic processes. How do we know evolution fashioned our minds such that they produce true beliefs? It doesn’t care about those. It cares about survival behaviors. If our minds do not reliably produce true beliefs, then we cannot say with any confidence that your thesis is true.
