The Scariest Climate Science of All
Andy Revkin

the question is how does the macro effect the micro, i.e. how does climate effect the individual, their family, and their life. How do you get across the effect when they have no prior experience with which to make reference.

we need to make people understand that the migrations we are seeing from northern Africa will be duplicated in the us as people flee the coast. It would make Katrina and Sandy events look minor.

How about A Hollywood action movie about the migration and its effect.

I would also consider teaching history visualizing the dynamic nature of the earth and the effects of climate change on human migration

we really have no concept of what a warming world will be like

most people look at change as linear, not exponential with critical or tipping points

How do we create an experience where people have no past to relate it to.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?
