Keep your focus always!

Stay focused on one single thing, what do you really want to get out of that job, the result is easy and simple.

For example a person that works in to Marketing has to do just one single thing: creating the need for a product or service.

When he things about brand positioning, brand awareness, style, ecc. ecc. They are considering some added value. Those are not the basics.

I might be stupid but everytime I change position in my job, as an example when I switch from being in sales to collecting data or marketing, I need to remind to myself more then once what’s the purpose of my job, I’m not thinking about what are the added value, I first think about the final product.

Imagine to be selling a house? What’s your final goal?

Have the house sold, with the highest margin possible. Imagine if you are trying to sell the house having as main goal to have an happy client….

Even if it’s noble, and selling products at the right price that will make both parties happy it’s the right thing to do, you can’t start a deal having as main goal to have an happy client… the client will be happy if he likes the house, he buys and the transaction goes right. Period!

Often reminding myself what is the goal of what we do it’s fundamental to find the energy and motivation for what I do.

I hope you find this useful
